    How do I configure my shortcuts?

    To assign keyboard shortcuts to ribbon items, follow these steps:

    1. Select Home tab, click Customize button in the Keyboard Shortcuts group to bring up the Customize Shortcuts dialog box.
    2. In the Customize Shortcuts dialog, locate the appropriate category and the command in that category for which you wish to assign a keyboard shortcut.
    3. In the Assign shortcut to command box, press the key combination that you wish to assign to the selected command.
    4. You can optionally select whether you would use your keyboard shortcut during slide design and/or slide show.
    5. Click OK.

    When the assigned key combination is pressed, the corresponding set of commands will be executed.

    Does "Clear All" button in "Customize Shortcuts" dialog box affect the shortcuts defined by Excel?

    The Clear All button in Customize Shortcuts dialog box clears the shortcuts defined through Shortcut Manager. It does not affect the shortcuts defined by Excel.

    Where are the shortcut definitions stored?

    For shortcuts to ribbon items, Shortcut Manager uses the Windows Registry to store the definitions.
