How do I directly refer to a bookmark within a Word document or an Excel workbook from a presentation?

Bookmarks within a Microsoft Word document and Microsoft Excel workbook can be directly referred using the following scheme:

<filename>#<bookmark>

For example, for linking to the bookmark WhereDidIGoToday within the file microsoft.doc, you would use microsoft.doc#WhereDidIGoToday as the hyperlink text to take you directly to that bookmark. Similarly, for linking to a named bookmark WhereDidIGoToday within the file microsoft.xls, you would use microsoft.xls#WhereDidIGoToday as the hyperlink text.
